We build it, we run it, you get on with the job
What a small business website costs
Every price is on this page. You will not have to fill in a quote form or sit through a sales call to get a number.
Three ways to do this, and one of them is obvious
What it costs
| What you get | Core $200 a month Nothing up front Most owners pick this | Growth $350 a month Nothing up front | Lump sum $4,000 up front plus $75 a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pages | Six pages | Up to twelve pages | Six pages |
| Edit hours | Two hours of edits every month | Four hours of edits every month | One edit hour |
| Hosting, SSL, backups | Included | Included | Included in the $75 a month |
| Contact form | With delivery monitoring | With delivery monitoring | Not included |
| Blog | Not included | You can write in yourself | Not included |
| Lifetime redesigns | Included | Included | Not included |
| You own the code | Not included | Not included | You own the code |
| Domain | Your domain registered in your name | Your domain registered in your name | Your domain registered in your name |
Here is the math, because you are going to do it anyway. The two come to the same amount at month thirty six. Before that the subscription costs less, and after that it costs more. But the lump sum pays again for every redesign, every layout change, and every hour of support past the one included.
Move up to Growth when the business gets bigger. Start on Core.
Buy it outright
Stay a year and you can buy the site outright for $1,500. Stay two years and the buyout costs nothing.
Files, code, and hosting move to your account. After that you pay by the hour for edits, or you keep the $75 a month.
What the hours cover
The hours cover text changes, swapped photos, and a team member added or removed. They also cover price and rate updates, seasonal banners and holiday hours, new gallery images, a new field on a form, and an updated service description.
What is never billed
You are never billed for hosting, SSL renewal, uptime, security patches, dependency updates, browser fixes, DNS help, form deliverability, or anything that shipped broken.
If we broke it, or it is something on our end, the fix is free and it does not come out of your hours.
What needs a quote first
A quote comes first for a new page, a layout change, rebuilding a section, and anything bigger than the hours you have banked. We quote it, you say yes, then we build it.
Add-ons
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Extra page on Core | $150 one time |
| Blog on Core | $250 one time plus $50 a month |
| Edit hours past the bank | $25 per quarter hour |
| Same business day rush edit | $75 flat |
| Logo cleanup or a basic mark | Quoted |
Out of scope
Each of these gets its own quote. A shop, customer logins, a member area, a database, a custom booking system, payment processing beyond a hosted link, and anything that talks to your field service software.
We do not do these at all. SEO campaigns, ad management, social media, writing your content from scratch, and photography. We know people for each of these and we take nothing for the referral.
Still deciding
Most owners pick Core. The other two are here so you can see why.
